Spanish Football Players Increasingly Dominant in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Daniel Romera, the Spanish striker who plays for FC Borac from Banja Luka, scored his team’s first goal of the new season and led FC Borac to a 3:1 victory against Velež from Mostar in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Romera scored the opening goal in FC Borac’s first match of the 2026/27 season, giving the club a perfect start to the new league campaign. The Spanish forward, who has already played for the Banja Luka club, once again found the net and gave FC Borac an early lead.

After taking the lead, FC Borac continued to control the match and scored two more goals. Velež managed to score once, but FC Borac held on to their advantage and secured a 3:1 victory.

With this win, FC Borac sits at the top of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina table after the first round.

Romera will be remembered as the scorer of FC Borac’s first goal of the 2026/27 season, while his team started the new campaign with a win and three points.

Alongside Romera, another fan favorite at FC Borac is his compatriot Abel Pascual. At the end of the match, Pascual approached the children who were cheering for him and gave them his jersey, once again confirming how much Spanish footballers attract the attention of the youngest fans of the Banja Luka club.
